Stagg is named after George T. Stagg, the man who build the most dominant American distillery of the 19th century. That distillery is known as Buffalo Trace Distillery today, where Stagg is made. Stagg is always uncut & unfiltered, making every sip bold and powerful, just like the man himself. I don’t like the fact that the store wants to take advantage of my wallet like that. Shame on them. If they paid $80 (not sure how much they do pay, just an example) for the Stagg 17, and the MSRP is $99, they are already making money. Raise it to around $110, ok but not 4x it’s MSRP. I don’t support price gauging..
